Pada hari Senin, terlihat adanya pola channel bearish. Pola tersebut terbentuk setelah harga berhasil melewati resistance pada 1.3940. Saat ini sedang menguji tanda 1,4000. Sementara itu, dapat diperhatikan bahwa garis tren atas pola sedang diperkuat oleh resistensi dari rata-rata pergerakan sederhana 200 jam.
Jika resistance pola tersebut bertahan pada hari Senin, maka harga akan turun hingga ke support titik pivot sederhana mingguan di 1,3892. Jika pivot point berhasil dilewati, maka pasangan GBP/USD tidak akan memiliki support, kecuali garis tren bawah dari pola bearish channel.
Di sisi lain, tembusnya resistance dari pola tersebut dapat mengakibatkan pasangan ini sekali lagi menguji angka 1,4000. Perhatikan bahwa angka 1,4000 sedang diperkuat oleh resistensi titik pivot sederhana R1 mingguan di 1,3997.
